I found a fantastic vintage curb link necklace on Etsy the other day and I have been obsessed with chunky jewelry every since.
I have had my eye on the Marc by Marc Jacobs Katie bracelets for a while now as well so I really enjoyed this DIY.

And here is my much cheaper but just as cute DIY version :)
- Plastic chunky curb chain links in any color you like plus silver colored
- large toggle clasp
- large jump rings
- pliers
I looked around Etsy a lot to find a shop that would sell me this chunky chain in a custom length. Most were not willing to sell less than 30 inches and that is just too much for these bracelets unless you want to make a lot of them plus necklaces etc.
Anyhow I was lucky enough to find one shop that was willing to sell as much as I wanted so if you are having trouble leave a message in the comments and I will give you a link :)

Start by measuring the chain against your wrist. The links on this type of chunky chain have a small opening so that you can snap them off and re-connect them easily.
Snap a piece off the chain about 5-6cm smaller than your wrist measurement.
Snap two links off the silver colored chain and connect them on each end of the main chain.
Attach two jump rings on each silver link, follow with the clasp parts on each end and you are done!

If you prefer you can skip the clasp and either have a solid color on the bracelet or add a couple more silver ones.
This plastic chain comes in so many colors that you can really go overboard and enjoy making a lot of these!
Hope you like it :)
